The verse is classified according to the number of syllables they contain. The verse holds the rhyme in a syllable set, being called the larger verse when by nine syllables and larger, if the amount exceeds this number. If there is no obedience to this feature, the verse is called free. Example of poetry Below is an example of lyrical poetry, the "sonnet of contrition" of Vinícius de Moraes, Brazilian poet and musician. Note that the word "contrition" means repentance, remorse and feeling of guilt.
