Description WhatsApp groups:
Poetry is a poetic text, usually in verse, which is part of the literary genre called "lyrical". It combines words, meanings and aesthetic qualities. In it prevails the aesthetics of the language over the content, so that it uses different phonetic, syntactic and semantic devices. Poetry is divided into verses that, grouped, are called stanzas. The literary origins of poetry point out that it was born to be sung, so concern for aesthetics, metric and rhyme. Poetry is a text where the author directly expresses personal feelings and visions. The voice that manifests itself in poetry, that is, the poetic and fictitious subject created by the writer is called the lyrical self. It is among the oldest forms of literary art, with registration of poetry in hieroglyphics in Egypt 25 centuries before Christ. In modern poetry, one of the most important tools is metaphor, a figure of language. Among the various types of poetic forms, we have: DISTRICT (POEM OF TWO VERSES) Tenth (ten verses poem) Sonnet (14 verses poem) Ode (exaltation poem) Main types of poetry Poetry can be divided into three main genres: Lyric Poetry: It can be translated as the way of expressing feelings through the spoken or written word. Epic poetry: It is marked by objectivity, where the facts considered important to the poet are narrated. Dramatic poetry: Its characteristic is subjectivity and objectivity, with the poet's opinion. There are also less used genres, such as pastoral poetry. Lyrical poetry Among the genres of poetry, the most applied is the lyrical. Subjectivity is the main feature of this poetic genre. In it, the poet offers through thought his social vision of the world, his reality and expresses feelings with attention to aesthetics, technical and metric. Most lyrical texts are written in verse. In addition to subjectivity, the characteristics of the lyrical genre are: calculated aesthetics, an elaborate language attention to form. That is, structural discipline. The components of lyrical poetry are: metric, verse and rhyme. The metric is translated with discipline in the structure of distinct combinations for the formation of verses, rhyme, rhythm and stanzas. The verse is composed of the set of words subjected to the rhythm and which gives rise to other verses. You may have breaks, rhyme hits. The verse is classified according to the number of syllables they contain. The verse holds the rhyme in a syllable set, being called the larger verse when by nine syllables and larger, if the amount exceeds this number. If there is no obedience to this feature, the verse is called free. Example of poetry Below is an example of lyrical poetry, the "sonnet of contrition" of Vinícius de Moraes, Brazilian poet and musician. Note that the word "contrition" means repentance, remorse and feeling of guilt. Remember that the sonnet is a fixed shape formed by two quartets (two stanzas of four verses each) and two third (two stanzas of three verses each): Contrition sonnet I love you, Maria, I love you so much That my chest hurts me as in disease And the more I am the intense pain Breaking your charm in my soul. Like the child who wanders the singing Before the mystery of suspended amplitude My heart is a vague of Acalanto Screaming verses of huge longing. The heart is not greater than the soul No better presence than longing Just loving you is divine, and feeling calm…
