Glee's story takes place at the fictional William McKinley High School in Lima, Ohio, and revolves around a group of enthusiastic and ambitious students in their struggle to live their daily lives in the school's cruel corridors. Will Schuester assumes the direction of the Coral Club and tries to restore to his old glory, and always defending the club's existence for Sue Sylvester coach who does everything to end the arts at school. The main focus of the series is the students of the Glee Club, as well as their relationships as couples, their love for music and desire for popularity conflict due to their club affiliation and concern for status. The plot has a mixed footprint of music, drama, humor and social criticism, addressing embarrassing themes, involving religion, bullying, pregnancy, dreams, virginity among others.
